A kitchen device which sort of resembles a small, non-electric waffle iron. Made of cast iron, it consists of two eight-inch circles with a slight perimeter ridge and a handle on the top circle. A small ball (two inches in diameter) of dough is placed in the middle of the press and the top part pressed down. Generally used for corn tortillas.
