The Windows version of traceroute. Used to show the systems packets travel through in order to arrive at their destination. In other words, it traces the packet's route. Often used to diagnose or troubleshoot network problems. Other tools used for similar purposes are ping, nslookup, nbtstat, netstat, and route.
