I'm basically retired from this site. I'll still log in every now and then to read things.

If there's a problem with anything I've posted here, I'll try to get around to fixing it eventually. Or you can simply delete it.

It's still possible that I might someday decide to grace this site with an erudite treatise on the platinum group metals or an impassioned denunciation of social democracy. Don't count on it, though.

In any case, the poorly elucidated high-school essays and navel-gazing "creative writing" that make up the majority of new content here have no appeal to me at this stage in my life. Good prose is always a pleasure to read, no matter what the subject, but most of this self-consciously "artistic" shit just leaves me cold.
