I am currently working towards a degree in Discrete Mathematics. I am getting this degree since it is the closest to a pure mathematics degree that is available. I hope to eventually get my PhD and become a mathematician. I am also considering getting a degree in physics, mostly for the fun of it. I am particularly interested in group theory and number theory. My non-mathematical interests include literature, art, music, philosophy, computers, linguistics, and cartoons. My preferred forms of music are punk, ska, jazz, opera, baroque, and neoclassical. I speak some French and Latin, I am working on learning Anglo-Saxon, and I am soon to start on Italian and German. As for cartoons, I prefer the works of Chuck Jones and Genndy Tartakovsky.
