E2 Community Newsletter, Winter 2007-2008

through this warm electricity I will give you bark branches and leaves curling upward into a safe sky

an hour later I found myself suddenly caught up in the marvelous world of insects

Reason #1 why we miss amnesiac:
2005.07.14 at 10:50 (britnoders) TenMinJoe says Ian Blair gave a quote which suggested that ID cards would be handy right now for identifying all the *bodies*, the stupid tit.
2005.07.14 at 10:51 (britnoders) amnesiac says Surely dogtags would be cheaper?

E2 Projects include maintaining The Great Oz Node (September 5: new Oz book noded!), As Cool As It Gets (updated February 22) (which categorizes the Pages of Cool) and Everything Editor Logs, Oulipian exercises, never failing to exploit the opportunity to use a pun, and careful and useful softlinking.

a small note about being a content editor: no, i wasn't one before. i mostly cool good writeups and upvote cool projects. i fix typos here and there. any questions? /msg me. I'm taking a break from editing. back in a few months... 10/04 ...well, apparently not back. ah well.

a small note about the Oz books: there are a lot of novels, plays, poems, essays in the public domain, which means they are out of copyright (or copyright free). works in the public domain can be published by anyone. all the oz books by frank baum that i am noding are out of copyright. i am noding them because i like them, and want to share them. also, i want to try to annotate some of these books, and E2 seems like a good place to try to learn to successfully do this. for more information about noding Etexts, check out Nodeberg. for many books noded on e2, start from everything literature. i also wrote an FAQ.
