Electronic/
industrial band made up of one man,
Johan van Roy. Sounds similar to
Velvet Acid Christ, only a lot less
trippy, and tends to sing about... you guessed it...
suicide.
The band got its start in 1986, when Johan started messing around with synths, and released its first tape in 1988. SC was signed to the German Off Beat label in 1994 and released its first full-length CD, Critical Stage. A number of moderately successful club hits followed, but it wasn't until 1995's release, Stored Images, with the single See You In Hell, that the band really took off.
