I am always amazed when a guy that I am interested in is able to instanteously
develop psychic capabilities. We're going along fine, becoming good friends, when suddenly he is able to determine what is best for me.
How does he do it, you ask? Why, with those
six little words that we all
love to hear:
You don't want to date me.
I hear this and I think, "Oh my, do you work for Miss Cleo now? Because if you do, you should rethink your line of work, as you bombed out in reading my mind."
Any time I hear a guy say this to me, I just want to say, "Ya know, if you don't want to date me and would rather just be friends, then for the love of God, just say so. Don't presume to tell me what I do and do not want to do."
Guys think that they are being kind by turning me down in this manner, but I just find it insulting. Grow a spine, damn it, and turn me down like a real man.
