This variation on the usual
gin and tonic is just right for the
winter. Don't be a
jackoff either--use
Tanqueray gin or don't bother.
Start with a standard cocktail glass (aka "rocks glass") and fill about 1/3 of the way with ice.
Add two shots of gin
A splash of peppermint schnapps
A small splash of blue curacao
Fill the remainder with tonic (yes, always Schweppe's)
The juice of 1/4 lime and do toss the crushed lime piece into the drink
A sprig of peppermint would not be inappropriate.
Brrrr....I might get chilly with one right now...
