A phrase I coined in the
cheddarbox today when letting a user know I just
C!hinged him.. it's like
C!hristmas all over again.
'Twas the night before C!hristmas, when all through the page
Not a noder was stirring, not even good Saige;
The Nodeshells were hung by the front page with care,
In hopes that St. Nate soon would be there;
And the c!hildren all slept, all snug in their homenodes
While visions of XP hopped 'round like a big toad...
And JayPea in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.
When out on ENN there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my homenode to see what was the matter,
Away to the chatterbox I flew like a flash.
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash,
The moon on the breast of the latest new nodes
Gave the luster of mid-day to noders below
When, what I couldn't believe a mortal could code,
But eight mighty noders, linked up at a node
With a little old driver, so lively and great,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nate
More rapid than T3's, his coursers they came,
He whistled, and /msg'ed, and called them by nickname
"Now, DemBones! Now, Jet-Poop! Now, Pingoin and Sensei!
On, iDeath! on /dev/joe! on Knifegirl and Dannye!
To the top of the page! To the top of them all!
Now node away, node away, node away all!"
As dry nodes that before the wild refresh fly,
When they meet with a "stumbit", mount to the sky,
So up to the page-top the coursers they flew,
With a node full of C!hings, and good St. Nate too.
