Somewhat racist term for an interesting car game. At a red light, any one of the occupants may shout "Chinese Fire Drill!" At this point, everyone in the car must get out of the car, run around to the opposite side, and get back in (including the driver). Hilarious hijinx ensue when the driver forgets to put the car in park. On rare occasions everyone gets locked outside of a running car (this in fact happened on an episode of Full House).

What this has to do with fire drills in China, I don't know.

Also, a state of complete confusion or chaos. Stems from the concept of a fire drill being confused or panicked, and, probably, the large amount of Chinese people in the world. Imagine a bunch of Chinese people running around outside while an alarm blares, screaming and waving their arms.
