Hohner USA is the leading harmonica manufacturer in the US. It was started im 1857 by a German manufacturer, Matthias Hohner. In 1862, Mr. Hohner introduced to America the same harp model that we still use today. By 1887, Hohner was making one million harmonicas every year. It was first used as a children's toy and in the army. Hohner now makes over 90 different harp models. |
