A DNS record type as per RFC 1035.

MR in this context is short for mail rename. It simply is a mechanism via DNS to do email address aliasing. For example, if an email address of foo@lamers.com was changed to foo@bar.org, a MR record could reflect that. This use, however, is very rare.
