In Gloranthan natural history, Truestone is the leftover crumbs of The Spike, the stable center of the universe where the gods lived. The Spike exploded when Chaos invaded Glorantha, back in God Time. The mythical metal Adamant or Adamantite is supposed to be refined Truestone.
