Umuofia is the Nigerian clan in Things Fall Apart, by Chinua Achebe, where Okonkwo lives. There are nine villages in Umuofia. Umuofia is one of the most powerful clans in the fabula of the story. The natives of Umuofia are the Ibo (also Igbo.)
