Wired Digital Inc owns hotbot, wired, hotwired, webmonkey and suck sites. It came into being when the Wired Digital Inc is separated from the Wired Magazine that was acquired by Advance Magazine Publishers in 1998. Lycos Inc later acquired Wired Digital Inc in 1999.
