A phrase uttered religiously by mother's everywhere when warning their children of their obnoxious behavior and rough-housing. Inevitably, mother is right and someone does get hurt. Sometimes, you really even put their eye out. But not a lot of us are lucky enough to have cool stories like that to share.

I tried to fill the void with family, religion, community service; but those were all just dead ends.
Now I know why.
I may find love, professional success, and I may someday consider myself to some extent satisfied and fulfilled, but, deep down,
I'm not going to be happy until I put someone's eye out.

Thank you, Seumas, for showing me the light.
