Dandelion greens (leaves), if picked when
young,
fresh, and
tender, make a great
salad. You have to get them in early
spring, though, before they get
bitter. And don't eat them if they've been
mowed. Who wants to dress their salad with
vinegar and 10-W-40?
I know it sounds ridiculous, but don't knock it 'till you try it.
