"Vulgar fraction" is a term in Algebra describing any fraction in which the numerator is an integer and the denominator is a non-zero integer. For example 1/19, 2/5, and 342334/23849835 would all be vulgar fractions. All vulgar fractions are rational numbers and all rational numbers can be expressed as a vulgar fraction.
