Athena, and one of most skilled fighter pilots on board the
Battlestar Galactica. He was married to
Serena (
Jane Seymour), who died in battle when all the males on Galactica became sick and the women had to learn how to pilot the Viper fleet. He has a son, Boxey, and a
Daggit named Muffit. The best friend of
Starbuck, he was once trapped on a wild west planet where a reprogrammed
Cylon named Red Eye helped an outlaw named Lacerta rule over the townspeople.
Captain Apollo was played by Richard Hatch.
