Buzzicona (pronounced boot-see-koo-nah) is an Italian slang word for an
ugly lady, usually
overweight and always lacking in
grace and
social attitudes. It was originally a word taken from dialects spoken around
Rome, though it's nowadays understood and used all over
Italy.
Other forms for the same word are buzzia and buzzica.
