THE Rock and Roll band of the late 60's and early 70's. Quite possibly the best argument for a higher power in the universe as individually talent like this is rare, to have that many musical gods in one band is astoundingly improbable.

• Robert Plant: Lead Vocals, haunting voice (some say its annoying, they are probably agents of the Dark Lord and should have a stake driven through their forehead before being burned alive)
• Jimmy Page: Guitar guitar and more guitar, he also wrote and produced almost every one of the bands songs. He is arguably the best rhythm guitarist to ever live and most certainly one of the best lead guitarists.
• John Paul Jones: Flea? Les Claypool? who are they? Oh yes, avid disciples of the God of Bass Guitar. He has been called "the most underrated musician on the planet", and has worked with many artists. He is currently releasing a new album called "Zooma".
• John Bonham: The most influential drummer of all time. He was legendary for his showcase drum solo's that lasted up to 30 minutes at a time! He died on September 25th, 1980. :(
  
  *I* read that Keith Moon used the term "Led Zeppelin" in part of a description. When a "Who" show went badly it was said to have gone over like a led zeppelin. Thus the name.
