The weariness I feel cannot be dulled
By setting my attentions on a book
Though briefly worries calm into a lull
Distractions end, and I no longer brook
These troubled times. No tolerance have I
For racing minds, for all the hustle now
Expected in this rat-race gone awry.
This hectic life I hereby disavow.
The weariness I feel… hey, what is that?
That show looks pretty cool. I guess I’ll sit
And watch it for a while, sure, what the hell.
I should watch more TV when I’m upset
I think I had a problem, I forget
I guess it doesn’t matter now, oh well.
