lesbian, possibly derived from
tomboy, although the use of the
term is not limited to
butch-y lesbians.
Example:
Guy 1: "Wow, that girl over there is really cute!"
Guy 2: "Don't bother man, she's totally dodgy."
Guy 1: "What? She's a tom?"
