A section of
Highway 21 in
St. Louis, Mo. It was
dubbed this during the
80s because of the frequent traffic accidents and deaths that occur on this stretch of
road. There is currently plans to improve the road making it a
divided highway with 4 lanes and
on ramps.
But recently a lawsuit filed by the Missouri Sierra Club might suspend repairs to the road under the Environmental Protection Act. The lawsuit could end up costing the state around $600 million. Yet, since these improvements fall under safety improvements the lawsuit may not effect them. That is being hashed out right now.
It also has a macabre caution sign.
