Death metal band Soilwork's fourth album, released in 2002 on the Nuclear Blast label. Produced by Fredrik Norstrom, Devin Townsend, and Soilwork; recorded at Studio Fredman in 2001. Cover artwork created by Travis Smith.
This album features clean lyrics, catchy choruses, and memorable riffs. The album is a clear movement from A Predator's Portrait (and previous albums Steelbath Suicide and The Chainheart Machine) to something more melodic, as Figure Number Five shows.
Natural Born Chaos also features Soilwork's first music video for the song As We Speak. The video was picked up by mainstream sources and played on MTV2, though I do not know its popularity.
It is also the first album with Sven Karlsson at the keyboards.
