Jester (Internet) : An online joke recommender. It uses collaborative filtering, the same idea behind Everything2 and places like Amazon.com. That is, you rate fifteen randomly chosen jokes, then after that Jester will give you jokes it thinks you will appreciate. You continue to rate them and theoretically they will get funnier and funnier. (IMO, there just aren't enough jokes - I've actually reached the end. Or maybe a lot of jokes weren't displayed to me because it didn't think I'd like them?)
