23 years. That’s how long ago I found this haven, the first place I ever expressed myself in any way. While I stayed on the outskirts I came to know so many of the people here through their words even if I mostly kept to myself.
In reminiscing this evening I found myself here again, and I looked through a few of my write ups and I was surprised at how much I’ve forgotten, but not. I write songs these days, rather obsessively, and oddly so many of these remnant words in my e2 nodes have naturally found their way into those songs. I like that very much.
This place quite possibly saved me at times in my life when I had nowhere else to turn. I know some have passed and many others may be on other journeys, and I never made any connections well enough to say hello, but I wanted to say this; thank you, with all my heart.
