Peter Beardsley

English footballer. That's soccer player, if you're American. Peter Beardsley was a midfielder on the England team for many years. He has an enormous chin and was named by Frank Skinner and David Baddiel on their show, Fantasy Football League as the ugliest man in sport.

Strangely, since I've heard it said he looks a bit like my brother (or my brother looks like him) and my brother looks a bit like me... I think he's a perfectly suave looking gent.

Peter Beardsley was, in fact, a rather talented attacking midfield player and NOT a defender in any team ever.

On occasion he had a tendency to run around like a headless chicken but was nevertheless one of the most inventive english footballers of the 80's/90's.

He played for the Canadian team Vancouver Redcaps before spending his glory days between Newcastle UTD and Liverpool FC.
