A generalization of the
phenomenon of '
the book is better than the movie' or '
the manga is better than the anime'.
Annoying as all hell when it isn't true - this is extemely prevalent amongst anime fans, as they have been conditioned by a lifetime of bad dubbing on animation. Since this condition has improved greatly as of late, it can be considered utter pants.
